I have never really been a “backpack” gal. They can be tricky, but I nailed it with the Brooks. I must admit that zippers make a big difference in the backpack game. Besides the outside zippered pocket, I love that this bag holds its shape when the top is unzipped. This easy access makes this bag a must have, especially for travel. I gave it a test drive and love the way it fits on my back as well as slung over my shoulder. The larger “top handle” is perfect for grabbing and going and while it’s on the larger side, it still fits perfectly under the seat in front of you (if it must!!).
